After 30 years in the New York City child welfare system, Christiana Best-Giacomini博士，LMSW, joined the master’s of Social Work faculty at USJ and fulfilled her dream of moving to a small suburban campus. While in New York City, Best-Giacomini moved up the ranks, first serving as a child protective specialist before earning her master’s degree in Social Work and doctorate in Social Welfare. 作为社会工作者的倡导者，贝斯特-贾科米尼是全国社会工作协会纽约市分会的副主席。 除了她丰富的经验外，Best-Giacomini还为USJ带来了她在儿童福利，创伤，移民，叙事社会工作实践和种族平等领域的专业知识。
