Ballet Theatre Company presents 《胡桃夹子》, 霍夫曼礼堂, December 15–18

The tenth annual production of Tchaikovsky’s 《胡桃夹子》 will be presented by the Ballet Theatre Company  in the Bruyette Athenaeum’s 霍夫曼礼堂 with six performances December 15—18, 2011.  《胡桃夹子》 2002年，应Autorino中心主任Robert Smith博士的邀请，BTC在圣约瑟夫学院的新表演场地举办了节日活动。

西哈特福德芭蕾舞团现已成立13年，在康涅狄格州的舞蹈组织中是独一无二的，它与两家专业舞蹈团，Exit 12舞蹈团和contic舞蹈团合作，使学生能够跳舞并向专业人士学习。  The BTC  胡桃夹子 has become a holiday tradition for the greater Hartford community.

Roman Baca, a Marine Iraq War veteran and artistic director of Exit 12, is also artistic director and choreographer of this season’s 胡桃夹子。  The spectacular production includes colorful scenery and costumes, and a large cast featuring  ballet professionals  Lisa Fitzgerald and Andrew Notarile with   fifteen other guest professionals, and members of the Ballet theatre Company and school.  Tickets are available by calling 860.570.0440 or online at www.dancebtc.org.
